I’m Maddy! An Illustrator based in Houston, Texas. I have four years of college experience at Abilene Christian University, with a BFA in Graphic Design. This experience has taught me to be well-rounded in using Adobe suites. However, I have placed most of my focus on illustration, character design, and storyboarding. I’m excited to work on different projects through friendly communication and my creative perspective.

Creating different characters and backgrounds surrounding these characters down to the tiniest detail has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Being able to create new worlds for people who are looking for a visual illustration, to put together their ideas, genuinely brings me so much joy! I’ve seriously been doing this since I was a child, so it’s a cool full-circle blessing to make this my career. I’m looking forward to creating original art with a purpose.

When I’m not creating, I’m baking and experimenting in the kitchen with different recipes for healthy sweet treats. My favorite baked goodies right now are sweet potato brownies:3 If I’m not baking, I’m probably outside running or walking; morning runs are the best! That being said, I hope to learn more about you, reader, and I can’t wait to create authentic illustrations that tell your story well.
